2005 to Present:

President of Atlanta Industrial Properties in charge of overseeing all management, leasing and development opportunities.

June 2001
Mr. Levison was hired as an independent advisor and consultant by the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors and Xceligent Information Services to oversee the development of an office and industrial database covering the metro Atlanta area.  The database includes the cataloging of approximately 13,000 office and industrial buildings in the 45 mile radius of downtown Atlanta. The database is now available to members of the Commercial Board of Realtors on a subscription fee basis.
 

1997 to 2004:
MK Management Company, Inc.
As a member of MK's marketing and leasing team Daniel Levison is responsible for the leasing and renewal of the company's entire industrial portfolio. The portfolio consist of 6.0 million square feet of commercial warehouse space throughout metropolitan Atlanta.

Responsibilities Included:
 

  • Annual budgeting for the company's industrial and business park portfolio.
     

  • Monthly performance monitoring of each project and their adherence to annual budgets.
     

  • Ongoing communication with the company's current tenant base to achieve the renewal and maintain the occupancy of the company s inventory.
     

  • Bi-weekly site inspections to evaluate and enhance each projects
    market competitiveness.

1992-1996
General Brokerage Activities

Was employed as an independent contractor with two brokerage companies: Ackerman & Co. and Advantis Realty (formerly Goodman Segar). While at these organizations he specialized in industrial and office leasing and investment sales. In his experience as an independent broker, providing both tenant and landlord representation, he has attained an astute insight into successfully negotiating the most difficult real estate transactions.

As an independent broker he successfully earned his Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM) certification.

1985-1991
Real Property Data / Jamison Research

During these years Levison specialized in the research and analysis of Atlanta’s commercial real estate market. He provided this information on a fee basis to
Landlord’s, brokers, purchasers, sellers and financial institutions. Beginning in 1985 Levison started RPD (Real Property Data). RPD was Atlanta’s first online available commercial multiple listing service. Updated on a monthly basis and with a guarantee of satisfaction, the company’s revenues more than doubled each year until 1989.

In 1989 he merged RPD with Jamison Research, Atlanta’s oldest and most established real estate research firm. While at Jamison his responsibilities included managing the company’s entire property research and sales efforts while regularly participating in the company’s advisory service groups presentation endeavors. In addition, he organized and moderated Atlanta’s first Industrial Roundtable.

1983 – 1985
Laing Properties, Inc.

Levison was involved in the daily management of Laing’s industrial and business park portfolio. The portfolio consist of 1.5 million square feet of industrial and business park space in Atlanta’s northeast and northwest corridors. His responsibilities included:

  • Annual budgeting for the company’s industrial and business park portfolio.
  • Monthly performance monitoring of each project and their adherence to annual budgets.
  • Ongoing communication with the company’s current tenant base to achieve the renewal and maintain the occupancy of the company s inventory.
  • Bi-weekly site inspections to evaluate and enhance each projects market competitiveness.

1981 - 1982
Royal LePage
Beginning his commercial real estatecareer with Royal LePage of Canada Mr. Levison managed the Atlanta offices entire research department. His  responsibilities included tracking inventory (supply) as well as tenant data (demand) for Atlanta's office and industrial inventory.

Levison was also given responsibility of opening, staffing and supervising the company's Tampa Bay research operation. Before leaving LePage he advanced into the company's sales group specializing in industrial leasing and sales.
